Christmas time.

And here goes another year, a great year in fact. :') There are many things I'm thankful for, though I think there are much more things I should show gratitude too. Which I often try to remind myself how lucky we are to be living a really comfortable life in a well done up home. But sometimes my mind wonders away, I start to wish for more. Alas human beings. In the coming new year ahead (though this whole things is a social construction of time), I hope to be more grateful everyday, to travel to 5 new places (maybe 5 is a little too much but it's always good to aim for the sky hehe ),  to keep the sparks between me and Lnr burning, to love myself and embrace my body more ( while never stopping to improve it for the better and fitter ), to continue to seek for the right balance in everything, to start learning watercolor from the basics, to not give up on pole dancing, to be more meticulous and become better at my job, to not be disheartened easily and to be more em...

Hello quiet world

It's 11.57pm now and it's a quiet night outside, well most nights are. We had our house warming last Saturday and I was feeling really proud of our home, well I still am now. Except that the algae bloom issue is still getting on my nerves every week, to which I still have yet to get down to the core of the cause to stop the rampant growth. We got ourselves a portable speaker for home use with part of the ang bao we received and as Lnr had put it,  our house is truly complete. I want to stay irresponsible and childish for a long time. I don't want to be bounded by kids and I want to see the big wide world.  It's be...

10.53pm.

Almost an hour after I've came back home alone after dance class with Lnr. Took me an hour to finally settle down and pen down some thoughts that came into my mind this evening, of which I spent on replacing the dried up succulent for house warming this coming Saturday; pre-heat and bake the sweet potatoes for a late dinner/snack and breakfast tomorrow; cleared the rubbish bag that was left out by us in the morning; packed the newspaper left scattered on the dining table; fed the fishes and turned off the lights with slight hope that it will stop the recent algae boom in the fishtank and finally took a hot shower with music at the back. It's indeed all this small things in life that adds up, and that's also a slice of life for owning a house of our own, with that special sense of responsibility to keep it in a somewhat acceptable condition at least.  I wonder how it was like for Lnr to have co-shared the space the past 4 months. Does he feel homed and relaxed, or does h...
