Make your life up, and then make it come true.

With the sudden surge of group photos hashtagging #LastLesson on Facebook, it occurred to me I've come to the end of my first academic year in Nus. Though strictly speaking the finals haven't even begin. Well, surprisingly fast. No words can describe my reluctance to end my undergraduate life, not that it's something for me to worry about now as a Year 1. I had a great talk with a graduating senior of mine last night while he was sharing his job interviews experiences, the conversation he had with his career advisor, and the hard truths he faced after stepping into the society. How CAP matters so dearly but that's just the beginning, it's even more important to know how to market yourself during the interviews. To be honest it was unexpected to see an ex hall-president getting panicky, facing setbacks from job interviews. After all, his portfolio isn't something that everybody can bring out with ease. He then wrapped things up by advising how I should consider d...

Learn to let go,

Whenever we make a decision, we always wonder if it was the right choice. Tonight is one of those nights. The decision to put the mess to an end, I wish I could blog openly about it but, maybe I'm not bold enough for that. Humans grew attachments to things, to people, to routes that we do everyday. And after a period of time we get so used to it that we refuse to let go when we should. I've always tried to push all the reasonings along that line, that its just the familiarity, the old habits that made me clinch onto you and not letting go, all these while. That we are not compatible to begin with. How true is that then. Yet we are such similar beings, our idleness, our indecisiveness, many times I see a reflection of my own imperfections on you. And I wanted someone who could guide me instead, who's better than me in their thinking, their way of living. Someone who compliments, supports and completes me. I like you, for sure. For I don't know what else made me did...

No photos Boring words.

It feels like I'm drifting further away from the social media networks now, after my Twitter's gone and I stopped refreshing Tumblr as much, now that I find myself browsing Facebook barely twice a day. The rationale lies somewhere along the line of 'I'm not that interested in people's life'. Or maybe I was just really busy the past few weeks. Now that I have regained my freedom to waste time I'm not that used to it. But it's good. After my phone spoiled the fifth time last friday within hardly half a year of usage I decide to give up on fixing it. For the two times I was using Samsung phones they must kept on spoiling, over and again. Sigh, how disheartening. Maybe it lies somewhat in the way I use my phone but seriously, after going to service centre for four times I couldn't be bothered any less to make the fifth trip. There are things in life that need to be sought out better but, I'm too, uhm I can't seem to find the right word to fit...
