Birthday retreat 2.5

Bao turns 36! 

Taking chance of the Hari Raya Haji PH, we booked 2 nights of staycation with W hotel Sentosa and M Social Hotel for the occasion. Perhaps the last 二人世界 we enjoy before xiaobao pops out in Nov.    

Really enjoyed ourselves at W hotel Sentosa & we were blessed with a sunny weather for the stay to spend the afternoon by the poolside with our Avocado float, & the 23 weeks baby bump teheh. Been feeling a lot better these days, away from the indigestion I felt at the start of 2nd trimester, except that the tummy has start to itch from the constant growing stretch. But a lil itchiness aint stopping me from enjoying the stayca so no complains. 

We got the $530 Klook deal for the Wonderful room which also comes with $75 dinner credit and breakfast. I thought the room interior look a little old fashion initially but it turns out to be, well, pretty romantic actually. Not to mention it's also very spacious for couples.

The food standard @ the hotel restaurant 'The Kitchen Table' where we had our dinner and breakfast was exceeding our expectations too. And they were thoughtful enough to also prepared a complimentary dessert for the birthday bao heh. If not for the same as always humid weather, we would have really thought we are overseas while strolling down Sentosa Cove later at night. 

Our plan to do some light trekking within Sentosa the next day didn't work out due to the sudden downpour 15 minutes into our Imbiah walking trail. We ended up watching Fast&Furious 9 @ Vivocity before moving on to our next stayca with M Social hotel at Robertson Quay. 

While the Loft Gallery room we had was quite some fun on its own despite the small room size, the service we received at M Social was quite underwhelmed with nobody informed us about the booking of swimming pool during check in, neither as it stated on the notice outside the pool. Owells. 

Nonetheless, at the end of the day I still enjoyed the staycations, the food we had, the time spent together with each other~ Hence the short post here to remember the good (&peaceful) time we had HAHA.
