Like everything else, soccer has come to an end too. Blatant as the truth is, it wasn't a great pleasure to take on the captaincy, even though I did indeed learn a few valuable lessons from it. But in all honesty, I'm so fucking glad it's over now. It was my first leadership role, and I'm more than happy that it has come to an end now, humans just have endless ability to disappoint others. It was a disheartening journey, when people do not reply in the chat for attendance, when people drop last minute text coming up with all sorts of reasons and do not turn up, and there will always be people who fall sick just so coincidentally an hour before training, how strange. The attendance gets so bad throughout that I felt like I have cancelled almost half of the training when the turnouts are pathetic. I will not deny that I lamented my job and it's true that I have always been ranting to people all these while, counting down to the number of training left to my step ...

As my token of appreciation to thank the long lists of blog reviews I came across before my own Batam trip, which presumedly had helped to make my journey easier, I was aspired to take tons of photos and come back with the most comprehensive guide to Turi beach resort kekeke. So long story short. Tan and me purchased 2 Groupon deal @ $99 each. Excluding a ferry terminal fee of $23 per pax ( May varies a little depending on the terminal you choose.) The deal is likely to be available all year round so if one website indicates it's sold out, can always try to find on other deals webpages. Henceforth, after a few E-mails to and fro to confirm our arrival date and time, the journey begins.  You can take bus 35 to the ferry terminal from Tenah merah Mrt, it's just 4 stops away.
